Lloyds Cycle Shelter

CT Glass received an unusual enquiry for a glass cycle shelter from an architectural contractor in London.
 

Background
The shelter was required for outside the Lloyds Insurance Building, it was therefore required to have a modern, contemporary look, to complete the building's distinctive architecture.

Project Information
CT supplied a variety of glass which included 10mm satina and 21.5mm clear toughened laminated.

Why CT Glass?
CT were chosen for their ability to assist with technical calculations for the structure, including wind loading and fixings for the automatic door system.

Results
The striking result is a complement to the building and an out of the ordinary design for a bicycle shelter.
