Welcome to CT Glass, one of the countries leading independent processors of toughened glass. Established in 1983, we specialised in supplying processed glass and mirror products. Steady growth, combined with a reputation for quality and reliability resulted in an ever increasing customer base. A major turning point in the companies life came from the introduction of a new legalisation covering safety glass. To remain self reliant as well as competitive CT Glass made the vital decision in 1997 to invest in equipment that would enable us to manufacture our own toughened glass. This substantial investment resulted in not only the latest hi-tec equipment but a superb, purpose built factory in which to house it. We were now able to manufacture toughened glass from 4mm to 25mm in thickness. Since the investment has continued in the necessary support process, such as fully automated cutting and edging, CNC processing equipment, automatic drilling and glass decoration, in the form of screen printing or sand blasting. Other facilities that we provide include bevelling, UV bonding and specialist sealed unit manufacture. |
Following the
recent completion of a 10,000 square feet extension, our total factory workspace
is now up to 70,000 square feet. This expansion was necessary to keep pace
with the increasing workload and orders. Our client base is varied which results in a wide spectrum of manufacturing. We are more than pleased to deal with bespoke as well as large batch quantities. A large portion of our work is to supply shop fitters with glass panels, who in turn install them throughout the country. They can be used for refrigeration panels, balustrade panels, banks, shop fronts and building societies as well as fixtures in the retail sector and components for the furniture industry.
