CT Glass have helped Beechcliffe Care Home to protect their property, whilst also protecting its residents by installing a fire rated screen glazed with 7mm Fireswiss Cool 30-7.
The screen was required to separate the main entrance and reception room from a hallway that housed a decorative timber staircase. The Fire Safety Officer from West Yorkshire Fire Service wanted to enclose the whole of the staircase with fire rated pasterboard, however the Care Home owners did not want cover the attractive wooden feature. CT Glass proposed an alternative measure of separating it from the main entrance and a reception room with a fire rated screen, which was accepted by the Fire safety Officer and enabled the striking feature to remain visible.
